Very happy I came. It is a very cute family owned restaurant. Some other reviews talked about slow or bad service. They are young and smiling. That is not bad service. What do you expect from a family owned restaurant. They do have some Mediterranean (non Uzbek) food, but they tell you that before you come(name of the restaurant). Overall great experience, great place. I would recommend.

This was my first time trying Uzbek food and l loved it. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming vibe, making the experience even better. The waitress was very attentive and thoroughly explained the menu to us. Highly recommend!

Fell in love with the amazing food. Never had Uzbek food before till this restaurant, and I have been missing out. Their lamb dumpling soup is out of this world. Everything here was extremely amazing, and the lady / owner is extremely nice and down to earth! Hands down amazing food!

Phenomenal Experience from Start to Finish! Uzbekistana is truly a hidden gem in Boonton! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful—cozy, authentic, and perfect for a memorable family dinner. Now let’s talk about the food—WOW! Every single dish we tried was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with love and tradition. From the plov to the kebabs to the dumplings, everything was outstanding. The portions are generous and the ingredients fresh—truly a culinary journey to Uzbekistan right here in New Jersey. But what made this visit truly special was the service and people. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and passionate about the food and culture they were sharing. It elevated the entire experience to something unforgettable. We had such a phenomenal time with family—laughing, eating, and making memories. I can’t wait to come back and will absolutely be dining in and ordering takeout many, many, MANY more times! Thank you, Uzbekistana, for an experience that fed both our stomachs and our hearts!

Uzbekistana Mediterranean Restaurant in Boonton, right across the street from Boonton Falls, features excellent Mediterranean and Uzbeki plates. Chances are you have never tried Uzbeki cuisine so this is your chance to go for it. I had the Lamb Kabob with carrots and raisins, and grilled vegetables; delicious. My friend had the Lamb Kazan (more of a pulled lamb) which she enjoyed very much. The inside decor is mostly of authentic Uzbek origin which gives a nice vibe to the restaurant. Our Uzbeki server was super friendly, and even shared interesting information about Uzbek culture when asked. This was a really nice experience. Highly recommended.

Amazing Experience! I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Mediterranean restaurant, and the experience was exceptional! The food was delicious, full of authentic flavors, and perfectly cooked. A special shout-out to Arosh, our server, who was incredibly kind and attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our meal. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the fantastic service!

I couldn’t believe that this gem was truly hidden. I found it by mistake but now I can’t wait to eat there again and again. First of all, they did a great job with making the place look as authentic as you can get. I am from Uzbekistan myself and when I walked in to Uzbekistana I instantly felt at home. They really made it feel like you were about to submerge into Uzbek culture and cousine. The food is out of this world delicious and authentic. There is a super inviting and warm vibe ans the service staff is outstanding. I wish I lived next door to enjoy this food as often as possible. Give them a try.

Uzbekistana is a hidden gem in Boonton, NJ! The food is absolutely delicious and authentically prepared, bringing the rich flavors of Uzbek cuisine to life. The plov was perfectly cooked with tender lamb, and the Kazan Chicken was juicy and full of flavor. The samsa and chochbera were also outstanding—fresh, crispy, and full of taste. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with traditional Uzbek decor and music that make you feel like you’re dining in Central Asia. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.Everything is freshly made, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Highly recommended for anyone who loves trying new cuisines or wants an authentic Uzbek dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back
